She begin her studies in Journalism, along that profession she loved photography.
Babe was well known for speaking her mind and saying things as she saw them. It was where she liked to spend her time with family and friends. She was also known for her crocheted items and giving them as gifts. She was preceded in death by her husband Jake Carpentier, daughter Cynthia (Cindy) Carpentier, parents, Leo David and Jeanie (Senecal) David; brothers, Francis David, Albert David and Lenny David who died as a toddler. Babe was a great daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.Susan is preceded in death by her unborn twin children which couldn’t be carried to full term, her parents Basil Lefthand Sr.and Annie Mary Finley Lefthand died January 1978 of Arlee.; her sisters, Theresa, Harriet (Corky) of Hot Springs, Ameila (Merle) Lefthand, Louise Andrew of Ronan and Annie Smallsalmon of Arlee; and her brothers Sam and Victor Lefthand of Elmo., Peter Andrews of Sheridan, WY., Johnny Woodcock of St.Ignatius., three grandnephews Kevin (Victor) Kenmille from Ronan., Brian Madplume of Pablo., a grandniece Catherine Madplume of Ronan.
